Become a volunteer
Ice Alaska has opportunities for different types of volunteers –
AWAY –
If you live more than 50 miles from Fairbanks, Ice Alaska will provide accommodation, transportation to and from the hotel to park and onsite meals when when working. All Volunteers must be available to commit to at least 14x days in Fairbanks. You will be required to work 12x days for 6x hours a day with 2x days off, to qualify for our hospitality package.
LOCAL –
The event has 3x hour blocks in different areas depending on your skill and availability. Meals will be provided for those that commit to a 6x hour shift otherwise there is always snacks & drinks available.
VOLUNTEER REWARDS –
We value all the hours donated to us by our awesome volunteers, so we have implemented a “Cool Kids Rewards” program. Achieve these hours and receive these cool gifts !

9x hours – an Ice Alaska pin

18x hours – an Ice Alaska pin and Ice Alaska volunteer shirt or a 10 punch card
-
36+ hours – an Ice Alaska pin, an Ice Alaska volunteer shirt, a drawing ticket for Alaska Airlines and a free swim pass at Chena Hot Springs, which is an hour drive from Fairbanks.
