Save Ice Park
Sign a Form to Save Ice Park...The World Ice Art Championships is the largest ice sculpting competition in the world and brings millions of dollars into our community every winter.
Ice Alaska can no longer continue on a year-to-year basis without a permanent and affordable home from which to showcase our Winter Wonderland.  Fairbanks North Star Borough Resolution No 2010-10 has requested the Legislature to transfer the Ice Alaska site and surrounding State land from the Alaska Railroad to the Fairbanks North Star Borough.  Something similar has been done in Anchorage so there is precedent for such action.
This transfer will assure Ice Alaska’s International ice sculpting venue can continue in Fairbanks.  Plus, a wonderful opportunity will be available to finally maximize the value of the Chena River that runs through the center of our community.
Click Here for a form that will show your support. We will make sure it gets to both the Legislature and the Governor.
