1998 World Ice Art Championship

Multi-Block Winners

 

Twenty teams of 4 persons each receive 12 blocks of ice measuring 4'x4'x3', each block weighing 3,000 pounds. Sculptors receive the aid of heavy equipment to move and stack the massive blocks. Sculptures vary in size and width depending on the subject of the piece. The good omen piece pictured below as 1st Place/Abstract was about 35 feet long, 12 feet high and 8 feet wide.
