World Ice Art Championships

The Fairbanks Amateur Open Competition is for anyone
over 16 who is interested in trying ice sculpting. Two-person teams
receive one block of ice measuring 3'x5'x3' and weighing about 2,700
pounds. To be eligible contestants must attend and complete an ice sculpting
and safety class. Contestants under 18 must have an adult present at
all times.
